Instructions

Who Is Eligible?

Registration is for the INDIVIDUAL QUALIFIED HAIRDRESSER (not business) and includes:
   •    Salon owner
   •    Sole trader
   •    Hairdresser who is employed by a salon

H.A.I.R. registration is NOT for APPRENTICES. They can register once they are qualified.

Requirements

We require a portrait headshot (jpeg format, no larger than 2MB) to be uploaded as instructed during the registation process. This will be used as your profile image as proof of registration on the H.A.I.R. digital database.

All supplied information will be uploaded to an encrypted and secure storage system, and will be checked and verified before your registration is approved.

Code of Conduct

By agreeing to this Code of Conduct, you agree to:
   •    Being a qualified hairdresser
   •    Being currently employed or a sole trader with insurance, ABN and GST registered
   •    Continue personal development through education every year
   •    Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety regulations
   •    Adhere to all manufacturer's instructions in regards to the use of products
   •    Maintain a high level of customer service and customer respect
   •    Uphold the reputation of the Australian hairdressing industry and not bring this reputation into direpute
   •    Make all changes to your current situation, including employment status, known to the AHC within 28 days. Non compliance may result in removal from the register.
