GOOD NEWS….the National Skills Commission Key Findings on the Skills Priority List (SPL) now includes Hairdressing.

Let’s hope this also means we will be kept on the Skills Migration List for our existing Visa workers…and future overseas skilled employees.

In the meantime the AHC will continue to lobby on taking Hairdressing/Barbering from the Short Term List to Medium to Long Term List, including a pathway to permanent residency.
